Battery Back Up Modules |
Add-on modules are available for any DuraComm power supply to set up a solid state, battery back-up system. The modules use dual Shottky diodes to provide protective isolation and seamless transfer of the load to the battery when the AC mains go down. Fixed resistance is used to reduce power supply output voltage to the battery, to a conservative float charge level for lead acid type batteries. Models RMBB and MMBB do not include a fixed resistance, and do not have a battery charging output. They are intended for systems which will use a separate source of battery charging.
